AfriCourier Terms of Service

Welcome to AfriCourier. By accessing or using our services, platforms, and technologies, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. These terms apply to all users, whether browsing, registering, or actively shipping goods.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use AfriCourier’s services.

2. Services Overview

AfriCourier is a logistics technology platform providing:

• International and domestic air cargo services
• Road freight and trucking
• Warehousing through partner facilities
• Customs clearance coordination
• Last-mile delivery through affiliated partners
• Cross-border product consolidation and forwarding

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or making a shipment. AfriCourier is not liable for any loss due to misuse of your credentials.

4. Shipping & Customs Compliance

• You agree not to ship illegal, prohibited, or dangerous items.
• You are responsible for providing accurate shipment and customs documentation.
• AfriCourier may open and inspect shipments if required by law or regulation.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are provided before checkout based on real-time data. Users agree to pay the full amount at the time of booking unless an enterprise agreement states otherwise. Taxes, surcharges, and third-party service fees may apply.

6. Delays and Liability

AfriCourier is not responsible for delays caused by customs, weather, third-party partners, or force majeure events. Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the amount declared or covered by the applicable insurance policy, where available.

7. Platform Usage

You agree not to misuse the platform, reverse-engineer our software, or violate any laws while using AfriCourier. We may suspend or terminate access to users who breach these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, and trademarks used on the AfriCourier platform are owned or licensed by AfriCourier. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

9. Modifications to Services or Terms

AfriCourier reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya, where AfriCourier is legally incorporated. Where services are offered in other jurisdictions, users are responsible for complying with any local laws or regulations that may apply. In the event of a dispute, AfriCourier reserves the right to resolve matters under Kenyan jurisdiction unless otherwise required by local law or mutually agreed upon in writing.
