How We Calculate Shipping Fees

AfriCourier calculates shipping costs based on a combination of factors including the package's actual or volumetric weight, delivery speed, destination, and type of service selected (standard or express).

• Weight: Heavier packages cost more to ship.
• Dimensions: Large but lightweight packages may be charged based on volume (dimensional weight).
• Destination: Prices vary based on local, regional, or international zones.
• Service Type: Express shipping is priced higher than standard delivery.

Requesting a Quote

You can request a shipping quote on our platform before booking your shipment. Input your package details and destination, and the system will give you a transparent estimate.

Accepted Payment Methods

AfriCourier accepts multiple secure payment methods to make your experience smooth and flexible:

• Mobile Money (M-Pesa, Airtel Money, MTN MoMo)
• Visa and Mastercard debit/credit cards
• Bank transfers (for B2B and bulk shipments)
• AfriCourier wallet balance (for registered business accounts)

Currency and Conversion

Prices are displayed in your local currency by default. International users can toggle to view rates in USD or EUR. Currency conversion rates are updated regularly.

Receipts & Invoices

A detailed receipt or invoice is automatically emailed to you after payment is completed. Registered businesses can download monthly statements from their dashboard.
